Surface Area of Pyramids - Lesson 12-2

Today, we looked at how to find the surface area of pyramids. We started by defining this type of polyhedron:

After this, looked at finding the total surface area in the following two examples:

In order to find the total surface area, we looked at the base and the lateral faces:

We found their areas and added them to determine the total surface area of the pyramid:
