Lesson 9-8 - The Pythagorean Theorem and Space Figures
Today, we applied the Pythagorean Theorem to figures in space. We started with some basic definitions:
Given these definitions, you should be all set with this section...it's really not that hard. We went over the following example:
The first thing was to figure out what DB was by using the triangle shown:
Then, we used the red triangle shown below to figure out HB:
